CP-UV20-CARGO-XL
Troy Products Ford Police Interceptor Utility Cargo XL Mount features a 12-gauge cold rolled steel (CRS) base with pre-punched holes for gas shock adjustment and a 14-gauge CRS platform reinforced with two support channels for added strength. Designed to replace the OEM spare tire cover, this cargo mount is 7 inches longer than the standard CP-UV20-CARGO and raises the platform approximately 3 inches, creating valuable space underneath for equipment mounting. Dual sets of 90 lb. gas shocks support a maximum load capacity of 360 lbs. in the open position while allowing the platform to tilt up for quick and convenient spare tire access. Two heavy-duty rubber latches, located on both the driver and passenger sides, securely hold the platform in place during operation. The system includes a gap panel to cover the space between the rear cage and cargo mount, as well as support brackets (Part No. CP-UV20-CARGO-XL-#GPBKT). An optional electronics tray (Part No. AC-20-UV-TRAY), sold separately, can be mounted directly to the cargo mount for secure electronics installation. Compatible with Troy rear cages and PTS plastic seats, this no-holes-drilled design provides a durable, vehicle-specific solution while maintaining ease of installation and serviceability.
