The Troy Products Chevrolet Tahoe K9 Transportation System is built for strength, safety, and real-world performance. Constructed from heavy-gauge aluminum, it delivers long-term durability without adding unnecessary weight to the vehicle. Strategically placed ventilation holes allow proper HVAC airflow into the K9 compartment, while standard lighting holes and a precut dome light opening simplify electrical integration for a clean, professional install.
All surfaces are finished in a specially engineered gray powder coat that offers superior urine resistance for effortless cleaning. Its high-visibility light gray interior allows officers to quickly identify injuries or signs of blood, supporting faster response times and enhanced protection for their K9 partner.
A front sliding door locks securely in both the open and closed positions for controlled access. High-impact, heavy-gauge steel door panels and window guards deliver uncompromising protection, while hinged window guards provide convenient access for routine cleaning. The floor panel is positioned close to the vehicle’s OEM weather stripping to help prevent water retention during washdowns.
Pre-punched holes throughout the K9 compartment are compatible with MOLLE straps for added customization and operational flexibility.
Additional cargo security accessories are available for purchase to further enhance functionality and storage. Options include a driver-side fire extinguisher compartment, a passenger-side fire extinguisher compartment, a driver-side locking compartment, and a passenger-side locking compartment.
